REAL project promotes a Higher Education (HE) reform process aimed at making HE in Laos more relevant and attractive, HE programmes better designed and balanced in terms of student workload, and HE teaching more effective. Support of HE leaders – from Lao public and private HE institutions – is key for the reform process to have the desired impact and be sustainable. This is why the REAL project has formed REAL Institutional Units at NUOL, SU, SKU & CU. We are also looking for more HE leaders from Lao HEIs to support the REAL reform process.
As a HE leader at a Lao HE institution, you are invited to take part in REAL Dissemination Events to learn
(1) what project has to offer,
(2) how your students, academics and HE institution can benefit from using the results,
(3) about the possibility of joining the REAL Outer Circle of REAL Reform Promoters – HE leaders who apply REAL methodology at programme and/or institutional level beyond the programmes/HE institutions who participate in the project directly
If you are working at NUOL, SU, SKU or CU, the best way to get engaged with the REAL project activities is by getting in touch with REAL Project institutional coordinators at your universities
NUOL | Dr. Soubin Sisavath |
SU | Mr. Thavone Panmanivong |
SKU | Ms. Phetsavanh Somsivila |
CU | Mrs. Nongkhane Phanthanalay |
If you are working at another Lao HE institution, please read on.
The project, with full support of MOES, will recognise special contributions of Lao HE leaders who apply REAL methodology at programme and/or institutional level beyond the programmes/HE institutions who participate in the project directly.
If you are interested in finding out more and eventually joining the REAL Outer Circle of REAL Reform Promoters, please let us know via this website Contact Form or reach out to one of the REAL Institutional Coordinators (see above).
If you would like to first learn more about the project, here are the future REAL Dissemination Events you can take part in:
